Half day Afternoon - Tour Lisboa/Belém Bus + Walking

Depart by coach towards Belém. The coach will drive you by one of the most famous roads in Portugal Marginal. Along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and from Carcavelos the banks of the Tagus river.
Stop at the Tower of Belém, the Lisbon Landmark and UNESCO world heritage site, for a photograph. From here we will walk (5 minutes) to the modern 1950’s Monument of the Discoveries, built to commemorate the birth date of Prince Henry the Navigator, founder of the Sagres school of navigation in the beginning of the 15th century, which played a vital role in the success of the “Portuguese Discovery Voyages” of the 15th and 16th centuries. Cross, under the railway and the road, through the tunnel to reach the gardens in front of the 16th century Jerónimos Monastery, another UNESCO world heritage site. You will visit the Church and the cloisters which remained intact even during the 1755 earthquake. We will continue our walk for a taste of the local speciality “Pastel de Belém”.
Return journey to the congress venue, in Estoril.

Price: 55€ per person
Depart by coach towards Cascais Village. The coach will drive you by one of the most famous roads in Portugal Marginal. Along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
Heading to the Museum Casa das Histórias Paula Rego, which was designed by the architect Eduardo Souto de Moura. The building makes use of certain aspects of the region's historical architecture but reinterpreted in a contemporary way. After exploring the outside area, you will have the opportunity to enter and explore the beautiful artwork of the well-known artis Paula Rego inside the museum.
The tour continues, you will take a stroll along the beach promenade and in the picturesque pedestrian centre of Cascais - a fishing village that became a fashionable resort in the 19th century.
You will do a quick stop to a taste a local specialty the famous ice cream Santini, with more than 70 years of history, Santini is probably the oldest artisanal ice cream brand in Portugal, having always sought to distinguish its products through quality, using only fresh and natural products and without using additives in its preparation.
Return journey to the congress venue, in Estoril.
